Watching both my daughter and son deal with the loss of their father has been difficult. My son rarely refers to him, and I know his pain is still too raw. My daughter speaks of him often to me, but with much emotion, occasionally laughing. We both share an obvious sadness in all that he has missed with her son, my grandson.
